Experienced Care With a Personal Touch

Hi, I'm Sharon, the person behind Paws & Pasture Care by Sharon.

Animals have been a major part of both my professional experience and my life for many years. My background includes SPCA enforcement, shelter and rescue management, veterinary attendant work, grooming, and hands-on care for a wide variety of animals.

That experience has taught me that good animal care isn't simply completing a checklist. It's noticing behavior, understanding routines, recognizing when something isn't quite right, and adapting to the individual animal in front of you.

From Household Pets to the Pasture

My work isn't limited to dogs and cats.

I provide care for companion animals, senior pets, horses and equines, farm animals, poultry, birds, and other appropriate animals — along with specialized services such as pet transportation, wedding and event pet care, and property pet waste services.

Whether I'm walking one family dog or helping maintain the routine of a multi-animal farm, my approach is the same:

Learn the routine. Respect the animal. Pay attention to the details.

Much of Paws & Pasture Care is designed around caring for animals where they're already most comfortable — at home, at the barn, or on the farm.

Services are available throughout my local service area, with expanded travel considered for weddings, events, transportation, and other specialized care.

More Than a One-Size-Fits-All Service

Every household, farm, pet, and schedule is different.

That's why I prefer to learn what you actually need and provide a custom quote rather than trying to force every client into the same package.

For new in-home care clients, I also offer a complimentary meet-and-greet so I can meet your animals, learn their routine, and make sure we're a good fit before care begins.

Building Something With Purpose

Paws & Pasture Care is continuing to grow beyond traditional pet sitting.

My long-term goal is to build services, partnerships, and community involvement that help make dependable animal care easier to access while addressing some of the gaps that can leave pets and their owners without enough support when circumstances change.

For now, that starts one household, one farm, and one animal at a time.
