Whether your trip calls for scheduled visits throughout the day, overnight care, or a combination of services, we'll create a care plan designed around your household rather than trying to fit every pet into the same package.

Vacation Care

Vacation care can be arranged for short getaways, extended trips, weekends away, business travel, and other times when your pets need consistent care at home.

Depending on your household, care may include:

• Scheduled potty breaks and walks

• Feeding and fresh water

• Cat and litter box care

• Play, enrichment, and companionship

• Basic medication support when arranged in advance

• Senior pet routines

• Care for multiple pets

• Basic pet-area cleanup

• Bringing in mail and packages

• Adjusting agreed-upon lights or blinds

• General observation of the home during scheduled pet-care visits

Your schedule is planned before you leave so everyone knows what to expect.

Overnight Care

For pets who are accustomed to having someone home at night, need additional companionship, or simply do better with a familiar nighttime routine, overnight care may be added to your vacation plan.

Overnight care is especially helpful for:

• Dogs who aren't comfortable being alone overnight

• Senior pets

• Multi-pet households

• Pets with established evening and morning routines

• Longer trips where additional companionship is beneficial

• Households needing both nighttime care and scheduled daytime coverage

Overnight service does not mean 24-hour continuous care. I may leave the home during the day for other scheduled clients, appointments, and normal daily responsibilities.

If your pet requires extended or near-continuous supervision, let me know when requesting your quote so we can determine whether a more customized care arrangement is appropriate.

One Household, One Care Plan

Vacation care becomes more complicated when a home includes more than one type of pet.

Dogs may need walks and potty breaks. Cats have their own feeding and litter routines. Birds may require specialized daily care. Senior pets may have medications or additional needs.

Instead of looking at each animal in isolation, I consider the needs of the household as a whole when developing your care plan.

Familiar Surroundings While You're Away

Keeping pets at home allows them to maintain many of the routines they're already accustomed to — their own beds, feeding areas, yard, neighborhood, toys, and familiar environment.

For multi-pet households in particular, in-home care can also eliminate the logistics of transporting and boarding several animals in different locations.

Before You Leave

New in-home clients can arrange a complimentary meet-and-greet before their first service.

We'll review your pets' routines, feeding instructions, medications when applicable, household access, emergency contacts, veterinary information, walking or yard routines, and other important details.

For longer or more involved trips, we'll also establish the expected care schedule before your departure.

Customized to Your Trip

A weekend away with one cat is very different from a two-week vacation involving several dogs and multiple daily routines.

That's why Vacation & Overnight Care is quoted individually.
