Transportation can be arranged as a stand-alone service or coordinated with other Paws & Pasture care services.

Daycare Pickup & Drop-Off

Sometimes getting your dog to daycare is the hardest part of the schedule.

Pickup, drop-off, or round-trip transportation can be arranged around your schedule and the daycare facility's check-in and pickup requirements.

Whether you need occasional help on a busy day or more regular transportation, we'll determine an arrangement that works for you, your dog, and the facility.

Veterinary & Grooming Appointments

When you can't make the trip yourself, transportation may be available to help get your pet to and from scheduled veterinary or grooming appointments.

Depending on the arrangement, service may include pickup from home, transportation to the appointment, check-in, appropriate waiting or return coordination, and transportation home.

Veterinary treatment, medical decisions, authorizations, and expenses remain the responsibility of the pet owner and veterinary provider.

Door-to-Door Convenience

Pet Transportation can be especially helpful for busy workdays, schedule conflicts, clients who don't drive, or situations where transporting a pet has simply become difficult.

Depending on your needs, service may include one-way transportation, pickup and drop-off, or a complete round trip.

Safe, Individualized Handling

Every animal travels differently.

Before transportation, I'll need to know about your pet's:

• Size and breed or type

• Temperament

• Mobility

• Travel behavior

• Special handling needs

• Appropriate restraint or carrier requirements

Pets must have suitable collars, harnesses, leashes, carriers, or other necessary safety equipment.

Please disclose significant travel anxiety, motion sickness, aggression, escape behavior, or other transportation concerns when requesting service so I can determine whether the trip can be handled safely.

Multiple Pets & Special Transportation Requests

Need more than one pet transported? Have a larger dog, multiple carriers, or an unusual transportation request?

Let me know.

Transportation can be considered based on the number and type of animals, available vehicle space, required equipment, destination, distance, and individual handling needs.

Longer-Distance Transportation

Not every pet-related trip stays close to home.

Longer-distance transportation requests may be considered individually based on travel distance and time, scheduling, the animal's needs, and the nature of the trip.

If you're unsure whether your destination is within my normal service area, just ask.

Combine Transportation With Other Care

Transportation can also be coordinated with other Paws & Pasture services when appropriate, including vacation care, daycare, and wedding or event pet care.

Combining services can simplify the number of arrangements you need to make while providing greater continuity for your pet.

Pet Transportation is custom quoted based on factors such as mileage, travel time, number and type of pets, waiting time, handling requirements, and the transportation services requested.
