Sometimes you simply need someone dependable to handle a morning feeding, evening routine, water check, or scheduled animal-care visit.

When You Have Several Types of Animals

Many properties include a mixture of animals.

If you have goats, sheep, horses, poultry, farm dogs, barn cats, or other animals requiring different routines, tell me about everyone when requesting your quote.

For more involved properties requiring several animal routines and responsibilities during the same period, Barn & Farm Sitting may provide a better fit than booking individual animal-care services separately.

Safety & Handling

Before care begins, please disclose relevant information about your animals, including:

  • Known aggression or difficult handling

  • Escape tendencies

  • Herd or group considerations

  • Medical or mobility concerns

  • Special feeding requirements

  • Protective livestock behavior

  • Equipment or handling requirements

  • Any other condition that may affect safe care

If an animal or situation cannot be handled safely, care may need to be modified and the owner or designated emergency contact notified.

Medication & Specialized Needs

Basic owner-directed medication or supplements may be considered depending on the animal, method of administration, and level of care required.

Farm Animal Care is non-veterinary routine care and does not replace veterinary treatment, livestock management, or other specialized professional services.

Please discuss specialized care requirements before booking so I can determine whether they can appropriately be accommodated.

Because the care required for two goats is very different from the care required for a larger group of livestock, Farm Animal Care is custom quoted.
